Although there is a lack of consensus on whether Marie Antoinette actually uttered this phrase, she is generally the person associated with this phrase. This digitally altered photograph of the Sydney Opera House reminds me of the debate surrounding Sydneysider's 'need' for an 'opera house'. I really can't imagine a less structurally sound material than 'cake' to make this building - particularly with the creamy centre.
